I'm Cristina Villalobos, an interior designer and furniture restoration specialist based in Alberta, Canada. CASA MUROL was born in 2023 with the sale of a single Mid Century Modern rocking chair. What began as the discovery of one exceptional piece quickly grew into a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship, philosophy, and timeless beauty of Mid Century Modern design. That passion led me to study the work of influential designers such as Hans J. Wegner, Charles and Ray Eames, Milo Baughman, Hans Olsen, Florence Knoll, and many others whose work continues to shape the world of design.

Over time, I realized that furniture was only part of a much larger vision. I immersed myself in the study of architectural imagination, earning a certification in architectural design so I could unite interior design, curated sourcing, and furniture restoration under one philosophy.
